Summer is HERE in Minnesota and what a better way to kick off the season than a photoshoot with Sweet Science Ice Cream! I have been photographing this delightful ice cream company for many years and it’s always a joy to continue to work with them! Owner (and friend!) Ashlee Olds keeps bringing the hits with flavors and this year she is taking her show on the road by welcoming her first food truck, Sprinkle, to the scene.
For this photoshoot, we scheduled - and rescheduled - waiting for the perfect bluebird day! It was work the wait for this sunshine and sky that really brought the images home. There’s truly nothing better than natural light when you’re photographing food, in my opinion.
We set up shop at Studio Q to create a set to show how Sweet Science can bring catering to weddings, grad parties and just about any event! Then we took Sprinkle out for a spin to take her portraits!
